Introduction: My name is Josh and I am hoping to help you with your next project! I am new to Thumbtack but am a seasoned handyman with experience in furniture assembly, cleaning, moving, junk hauling, carpentry, metal work, painting, household electrical, plumbing, and yard work. Basically a jack of all trades with experience in lot's of different subjects. If you have something in mind let's talk. Josh was a very professional handyman who was even able to address a loose pipe in addition to securely hanging several art pieces that were heavy and delicate. He was very conscientious in making sure the height and spacing of items were to my preferences. His energy was very positive, earnest and polite, so it was a joy to tackle long overdue tasks over the weekend. A word to note that his current rate is $10/hr more than what was posted but he was willing to honor the advertised rate. Also, he was very communicative and apologetic when a prior project ran long, but thankfully this worked well within my schedule. I look forward to working with Josh again in the future!

Josh was a great handyman; very responsive, communicative and fair! He helped us build a gravel bed for our shed and we are happy with the results. Josh was 5 stars all the way around on his first job for us and we’re really looking forward to having his help on more projects soon. He is an excellent communicator, highly professional in every way, and his work was impeccable. He expertly reattached an Edwardian era handrail on our interior staircase, which required a bit of custom carpentry to repair a previous “fix” that had only made things worse over time. Josh assessed the situation, clearly explained how he planned to deal with it, what materials he needed to buy and an accurate estimate of their cost, popped out to pick those up, came back and completed the job within his originally estimated time window. The rail is now very secure and the repair work he did blends seamlessly with the original 100+ year-old fixture! Thank you, Josh! Really happy to have found you.
