Our listed price is $19 for a diagnostic, for our license technician to come out, assess the situation and give you a solution and price. Once that is given we will waive the $19. Thumbtack states, “a typical service call allows us to understand what needs to be fixed, confirm the final price of the project and then complete the repair.” We charged $129 for your faucet repair not $179, after you declined the service our great plumbing technician decided to take a further look at your faucet and seen it was a very simple repair (which is not typical for a faucet leak) and only charged you $59.99. We are a 5 star company and I am providing this information just to be transparent, Thumbtack charges us $49.99 for the opportunity to connect with potential customers like yourself.
