This company is wonderful, technicianAaron came out to my home to give a quote for our hot water heater. He was amazing , polite and respectful. I didn’t have work done with Iceberg, but I recently got a quote. This was my experience: Prompt Response and follow up..the technician that showed up was great. He gave me several tips and was extremely helpful. Here is where I lost confidence. The price for repair was higher than the 1st quote I received from another company. But the quote was higher because of an additional UV light,, that I didn’t need. I was contacted last night to see if I was still interested. I asked for an updated quote without the light, so I could compare apples to apples. I was told I would be contacted with a new quote in the morning. In the morning, i was contacted and asked what would the price need to be to do work today? I told him a few hundred less than my original quote, and I will get the work done today. Then I was told, the best they could do was the quote I already received, but I never received one?? Then the original tech reached out and told me about a sale.. bringing the price to be very competitive. But then the customer service from Thumbtack Iceberg said they couldn’t get close to the price of my first quote??? Now Ive lost confidence in them. Overall I’m giving 3 stars to be fair. The tech was great. The pricing and negotiating is all over the place. With so many options, i will be searching elsewhere.

Here at iceberg, we strive for 100% transparency so therefore we do not provide pricing over the phone. We offer free estimates on site because there are a lot of factors that go into play when quoting a job. We will strive to provide the best price based off the value that we provide.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will set up a free estimate or do service call fee depending on type of job need, then we will go out to customers residence and then provide accurate job and pricing info based of discovery inspection on said issues.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Remember Lowest price isn't always the best way to go. Alot of customers want the lowest price with the best service, that just does not happen, therefore our prices reflect our quality and value of work we provide. Make
