FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My lessons are priced very reasonably. If I have to travel to a student I will count the time and expense of that towards the lesson fee. I am willing to work with students to find the best length, price and location for their lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with getting to know each other. I want to know what your goals are, what your experience so far has been, what you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses. From there we will start to enhance what you're already skilled at, and improve your problem areas. It is a holistic approach to music taking theory, technique and expression into account.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my degree in music from Boston College. I am a certified Music Together instructor, which means I have a lot of experience with small kids. I also taught for two years in a program called Merry Melody, which gave me serious training in working with young students.
