We hired Matt to repair 6 interior doors that did not operate properly as well as install a new entry door on the porch and new hardware on our front door. We found Matt on Thumbtack, looking to replace a sliding patio door, and being local to us, decided to give him a try and very glad we did. He was quick with a text, asking for more particulars and set up a home visit to check out the old door, making sure it was not repairable. The door being 20 years old, we ordered a new one and set up a time that met our schedule and Matt and Larry showed up on time, prepared to work. They prepped the replacement site to keep the mess to a minimum, removed the old door, saving the trim, moved the new door from the garage to the opening, and the replacement was completed. Matt was punctual, had a full arsenal of tools, was efficient and courteous. The cost was reasonable, up front and no surprises. We have a couple other projects that need performed, Matt says he can do them, will be putting them on his schedule in the next couple weeks. ‘Handyman’ does not do Matt justice, as his work was completed professionally with no drama. He was a great ‘find’ for us and will use him again soon.
