- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will charge a $15 travel fee for any projects outside of a ten mile range from my residence (via road distance, not necessarily a map-view top-down mile radius).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know how quickly you want something done, both by the day and hours. If you have entire days where a provider can just sit down and work, let them know. Also keep in mind that when you directly contact a provider, that costs a provider money whether they end up working with you or not. Please be responsive and respectful. A brief aside in regards to my personal business; I am a student at UT Austin, so this is a part-time job for me. I do not have 24/7 availability until otherwise posted. Afternoons or very early mornings work best for me due to classes (except on Wednesdays since those are full days for me) and weekends work even better. Please do not do same-day-booking except on weekends since I have a higher likelihood of being able to work with you.
