I’m a high school student taking AP US History. I struggled to improve my scores on the multiple choice and essay questions needed for the exam. I took __ class with Mr.Anderson and I asked to review in detail certain time periods like events, people, documents, etc. Throughout the class he would stop to ask me questions on the period to make sure I could explain my thinking process while answering questions. He also gave me work to do between class like writing SAQ’s, DBQ’s, and LEQ’s we would then compare my essay to the rubric, scoring and giving me feedback. After a couple of classes I could see the scores and qualify of both the multiple choice and essays improve. I gavemthe exam May 10th and feel very confident in my knowledge and understanding of the course material.
