- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, coach and client meet face to face, on the phone, via Skype, or via email once a week for about 45 minutes, 3 times a month, to discuss whatever the client would like to work on. (Three months of coaching is recommended for the deepest, most sustainable results, but shorter commitments - even single sessions! - can be highly transformative.) I charge $500/month, but am more than happy to work on a sliding scale with clients experiencing financial challenges. Hour-long single sessions, which cost $100-$150, are also an option.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Professional Empowerment Coach (CPC) since 2004, trained at IPEC (Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching) in New Jersey, an International Coaching Federation accredited program. Coaches generally love to learn new technologies, tools and techniques which allow us to better assist our clients. I keep up with the latest findings through copious reading, seminars, training programs, and Master Mind meetings with friends and associates in the healing professions to exchange information and ideas.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Soon after experiencing the shock, devastation and sadness of the Sept. 11th attacks, I realized that many of the world's woes are wo/man-made, and, ergo, that we have it within our power to create something better. I decided then and there to become part of the solution, and I began my search for how I could actively, in my own unique way, help to make the world a better, more livable, more humane place. And I found coaching: it allows me to work with individuals, helping them reveal and utilize their unique talents and beauty, so they can offer their best self back to the world ...
