FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on an hourly or a daily basis. The latter is more advantageous both from my and my clients' perspectives. We get a lot done in one full day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Bonded & Insured member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) which offers programs, information and guidance to approximately 4,000 organizers in the U.S.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a good idea about your budget and timeline. Price is of course important, but should not be the sole criteria in choosing one professional over another. The organizer's background, skills, knowledge base, flexibility, & personal compatibility are hugely important as well. Also, it is always possible to minimize the expenses by taking on some of the work yourself. When clients are active participants and learn as they go along, they automatically reduce the number of hours the organizer needs to spend at their premises.
