- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides constantly looking for inspiration, I am also reading up on tutorials that will help me better the shots that I take. I hope to eventually take more classes or even go back to school for commercial photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always snapped photos since middle school. I loved looking back at moments that were my own and special times with my friends, I literally was in the process of covering one of my entire walls in my bedroom with photos that I had taken and things that inspired me. This hobby grew during my first years of college when I was the historian for my social club, and then I found my love for it after taking my first Black & White Photography class. It's an art-form that often gets taken advantage of because so many people do it...or think they can do it. My husband often tells me that when I'm shooting, I get this look in my eye of focus and passion that he can't get me out of.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I get asked to do a lot of couples and wedding photography- mainly because most of the people my age are getting married.
