Introduction: My work flows naturally without being pretentious or convoluted. I take an approach that is personal and allows the subjects to be comfortable in their environment. The photography and videos I produce are more documentary and journalistic in style. It is my goal to capture the people, places and emotions in a beautiful and artistic way. Always natural. Never obtrusive. Above producing beautifully crafted videos and photographs, meeting and interacting with people is the area I love most about my job. Studying photojournalism enabled me to leave my inhibitions at the door, and truly make people comfortable in a way that allows them to tell their story or capture them in a natural way. Everyone is beautiful and has a story to tell. I love capturing that.

Wow. I can't say enough about Andrew and Alo Photography. We are so thrilled with our engagement photos! We used the photos on our save the dates and website and have been getting tons of compliments. Neither my fiance or I are very good in front of the camera so needless to say, we were nervous. He met us at Griffith Park with his hilarious (and gorgeous) girlfriend/assistant Jessica on a ridiculously hot day. They were on time, professional, and put us at ease right away. They kept us laughing throughout the shoot (about an hour and a half), and were great at listening to our ideas and making suggestions. We wanted our photos to be bright and he edited them perfectly! We got our photos about a week after the shoot which was amazing considering how many pictures he took. Andrew recently moved to LA from San Francisco and has tons of photography experience. We were referred to him by a friend and we couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. Book, book, book!

My wife and I decided to work with ALO Photography for our wedding this past October and they were the perfect photographers for our special day. Andrew was very easy to work with and responsive with our questions. He recommended we have a second photographer (Panas) to assist him and we are very happy that we did! They were professional (punctual), polite and very talented - the candid shots they captured were amazing. All of our pictures came out beautiful and looking through them allows us to relive our wedding day...we are definitely looking forward to sharing these with our children some day! We highly recommend ALO Photography and will keep them in mind for any special events in the future.

I am always learning and discovering the latest in techniques and equipment when it comes to my field of work. This is important considering the rapid pace at which technology and trends moves.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved and appreciated wonderfully shot vidoes and photographs. I decided to study photojournalism and immediately knew the camera was my eyes. It was my tool to capturing the world that surrounds me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common clients hire me for head shots, engagements, portraits, and wedding videos.
