- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell into the job initially when i was younger, being the best out of the circles i hang out with, when i started working (officially) when i was 17 for a company as an employee i quickly became the I.T. guy, managing their network and website. soon after that i was hired on by two other companies on an as needed basis as a contractor to do their computer work. after this it became clear that this was the direction for my career and i started a computer repair company.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Hard drive failures, Viruses, Worms, Trojans, HiJackers, Broken Laptop Screens, In-Home networking, Business networking and system integration, Custom built computers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Determine what you want your outcome to be before calling for service if possible, that way you can clearly communicate your goal to whatever company you go with to receive a proper quote.
