I live in Chicago, IL and I moved to Chicago's South Shore area. I hired Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc to in March 2014 to move me into my apartment from there storage facility. My sister manged the move, because, I had to go to work. I gave her the money to pay the movers after the job was done. I used brand new boxes from U-Haul with U-Haul inner packing materials and packing tape. The company movers ignored boxes that were labeled fragile, those boxes were very damaged. My sofa was damaged with paint marks and the U-Haul brand new furniture covers I had on it was removed and stolen. My table was scratched-up and the brand new furniture cover on it was removed and stolen. They broke a number of other items, too many to list. I visited the 44th and Michigan location with pictures on my digital cell phone to show the owner (Mr. Vincent Harding). He was sitting in the back of the store eating his lunch and did not get-up to speak to me, told the receptionist to tell me what to do. I was told to email the photos to his email address, and I emailed those photos. He never responded on his own accord; it was not until I called to ask the status of my claim that he said someone would come out to examine the damages. He said someone would come out the following Saturday; I waited the entire day and no one came, nor did I receive a call to reschedule. I sensed something like that was going to happen, because I remember when I brought my pictures on my cell phone into the 44th and Michigan location, it was a little old lady before me sharing with Mr. Harding how his movers damaged a family antique and he seen disinterested in resolving her problem. In addition, I witnessed him disrespecting one of is movers in the public eye, and I thought how unprofessional. I contacted the BBB in Chicago, IL after they did not show-up Saturday and they still did nothing but lied the entire time. Thus, I vowed I would never use this moving company again. When Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc. one of the first moving companies to contacted me as a QUALITY moving company, I thought Thumbtack was a sham of a company to market for them. However, I discovered Thumbtack.com was unaware of Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc. terrible business practices.

I wish we could start over and give you the service you were hoping for but I can't, what I can do is apologize for your experience and let you know we have taken huge steps to improve our overall service. Since that time we have improved training in all areas and strive to get better everyday. We have been moving Chicago for 45 years and learned that sometimes an old dog better learn some new tricks.
