Introduction: I have dubbed myself a "functional designer" That means that the all beauty is based in function. Creating a gorgeous room is easy. For me, good design means: all space and all pieces within it should contribute to the ease and quality of your life. Empty space is not the same as wasted space! Lynelle is a talented Artist and Designer who did a fabulous job decorating my new home. She is intelligent, generous and caring, therefore, I trusted her and the total experience became easy and enjoyable for me.She "listened" to my requests and said, "I will never decide for you, however, I will say no if something is inappropriate". Rather than imposing her own taste, she helped me uncover mine, and together we created a home that is exactly what I wanted...warm, inviting, comfortable and "cozy". She was respectful of my budget and seamlessly blended furnishings I already owned with new pieces that are stunning. Lynelle was patient, intuitive, sensitive, and a pleasure to work with. If you are fortunate enough to engage her to work with you, she will exceed your expectations.

My husband and I have used interior designers many times in the course of owning a large home in a Bay Area suburb and now a high rise condominium in San Francisco. Lynelle Leess has been helping us elevate certain design elements in our current home with great success. She is creatively blending new pieces of furniture and accessories that we might not have considered with our current transitional/modern style home. As a designer, she has an excellent eye, discriminating taste, and knows how to evaluate quality. Lynelle is also a good listener who has the talent and resources to offer furniture and design options within any budget. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by creating sets for TV commercials, and realized how important a setting can be to conveying a personality. And then I designed my own home. And another, and a friendsand that was it!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do everything from total renovation to "revamping" your look with wall covering (paint) and accessories. I love to mix high and low, and always keep the signatures of your personality when redesigning your space.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To be sure that you get what you want and more, your designer has got to ask lots and lots of questions! About you, how the two of you will work together, your lifestyle, your needs, how you live now and how you'd love to liveAnd that's just the beginning.
