- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I don't do any formal continuing education, however, I read information about current trends in the services that I provide. My training has been in planning my own parties and parties for my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I do what I enjoy doing and there are very few activities that are more enjoyable to me than planning parties. I like to entertain people and to ensure that they're having a good time. I have thrown parties for my friends and family as a child, teenager, young adult, and adult. I was responsible for handling office luncheons for a department of a major company for which I worked.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the parties that I've worked on have been small to medium size parties. Many, but not all, of these parties are in restaurants that I choose for my clients. I've worked with all kinds of clients.
