Introduction: I am a graduate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a master's degree in acupuncture and an associate's degree in massage therapy with previous experience while attending college. I was a personal trainer for the Greater New York YMCA for various years and possess a degree in medical assisting with experience in a medical office in East Harlem, New York. I am willing to travel to your home and treat all types of medical, health and physical conditions you may be suffering at this moment. I help you assess a way to better improve your lifestyle and diet and other means to improve your work and daily life activities and to cope better with your symptoms. The World Health Organization has a list of about more than 20 conditions that acupuncture helps treat, ranging from pain to menstrual irregularities, depression, anxiety, obesity, etc. Massage therapy is proven very effective at dealing with pain in the body and with many psychological conditions also. You can request my health service and treatment for acupuncture, massage or both during the same visit. Here is what to expect when I go to your home! I will set up my massage table, take a brief intake for massage only or a more detailed intake for acupuncture or both. With acupuncture, I will feel your pulses to get a sense of your "vital Qi" (energies), inspect your tongue for fluid transformation in your body (according to Chinese medicine), palpate your meridians (called channel palpation, if necessary), then deliver proper acupuncture needling (very fine needles) based on my diagnosis of condition. Sometimes, I will treat with other modalities of treatment, like gua-sha (scraping), moxa, cupping, etc. I am committed to delivering professional medical standards of treatment to help you achieve a better way of life.
