Introduction: I'm a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Chicago and interested in exploring neural sequence generation and the temporal precision that neurons in specific regions of the brain exhibit during specific complex motor behaviors.
To approach this problem, I use record from identified neurons in the brain in conjunction with pharmacology and microstimulation. However, my work draws a lot from a set of computational and physiological techniques, including mathematical modeling and software development.
Having a Ph.D. in Biomathematics enabled me to explore a large domain of beautiful mathematics and biology that I feel am ready to teach and share.
