I listen to my clients and consider their daily lifestyle when i'm doing their hair and or makeup. I want them to be able to recreate the look I have given them. I love having a client sit down in my chair knowning that they aren't happy with their hair and or makeup and having them leave with a huge smile on their face, thanking me for showing them that there is still hope. I love having people return to me knowing how good of a job I will do.

Catherine really knows her stuff! Not only is she knowledgeable but she really enjoys what she does and that makes her work on you so much more fun because she becomes very creative with you. Catherine is a sweetheart, I loved spending the time with her and having her vamp me up for the Masquerade ball. Take the drive to Vancouver to see her!

Catherine has done my hair for a few years and has also done my hair and make up for a photo shoot. She is such a pleasure to work with. She listens
To what you want, gives you great ideas of
what looks best on you and walks you through the steps so you can replicate the look at home. I have gone to several other hair and makeup Stylists in the past and I have never walked away feeling as great about myself as a do when I leave an apt. with Catherine. I have recommended her to several people feeling confident they will leave as happy as I do : )

I had been going to Catherine to get my hair done prior to my wedding and due to her extreme attention to detail, I didn't think of anyone else to help me on my special day. She did a great consultaion and knew exactly what I was looking for. Catherine did the most amazing curls (my hair rarely takes a curl let alone hold it for an entire day) and she pinned half of it up behind my ear. I had never felt so beautiful in my life! To add to the experience, she did my daughter's hair who is mixed and has super tight curls. It was straightened and then exicuted gorgeous barrel curls with the flat iron. After brushing it the next day, her hair stayed straight for 2 weeks (can you say wow?!?!) My 6 bridesmaids loved what she did and needed her services as well. Thank you Catherine for making my special day wonderful, devoting your day to keeping me fabulous, and for your professionalism anytime I see you!

This was my first time getting my hair with Catherine and she was very professional and lots of fun to talk too. I love my hair and still looks good. It has been over 8 years since I've had my hair done and will come back and get my hair done by her again. Thanks for everything!

i have had my hair cut and colored by Catherine for the past year and a half. I went to her and gave her the freedom to do what she wanted to help make me look more professional and grown up since I had just started a new job. She does amazing work! She gave me a haircut that is constantly complimented and put red in my hair (my favorite) and the color is beautiful and also something I get compliments on! I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my hair done! I have sent friend's and co-workers to see her and they will not go anywhere else either! I would suggest going to Catherine for anything that she offers!!!

Please refer your pricing questions to my website. All of my services are listed on my website with detailed description of each service and expectations not only as a client but as your stylist. If you have further questions feel free to send me an e-mail and I will do my best to respond within a timely manor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I do continuing education classes at the local supply house and I try my hardest to teach myself new and exciting things about my trade as often as I can. I am always trying out new things I see in magazines or print work. I am also an avid YouTube watcher and I find myself being inspired by the gurus to try new things and to branch out of my comfort zone.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to do hair after losing my best friend in a drunk driving accident. He had always wanted to be a pilot and I realized that day he will never get to live out his dream. I needed to do what I loved and I needed to do it now. I got pregnant during beauty school and even after I had my son I had the motivation and push to get through my schooling and flourish at what I loved.
