For my home, I bought good-quality flooring and underlayment and had Andy install it for us. It is rare these days to find a craftsman like Andy who pays attention to the small details. I am a meticulous person, and after 5 years of living with the floor, I have not found any defects, and it still looks as good as the day it was installed. The complex floor layout included four bedrooms, five closets and joining hallways. Andy was able to lay out the entire floor plan without any gaps or thresholds between the rooms. That takes experience and skill. I was also impressed by the work he did on the baseboards, where it took a creative mind to make clean connections to different-style baseboards that were existing on the stairs.
