Introduction: What separates me from other designers is simply my time spent in consultation and research. I go above and beyond for my clients! knowledge is power and the key to understanding my clients and their needs. I do not skip out on time used to understand my clients trade, as well as research time to help my client find a practical solution at the most affordable price. What I like most about my job is interacting with various individuals and learning how they seen and view design! Art and beauty are subjective, and being able to see and learn about every aspect of them through the eyes others is priceless. From learning about new printing and manufacturing techniques, to new aesthetics, and different design approaches is the most fulfilling part of my work.

I had an idea for my wedding invitations that no one seemed to be able to put to paper. Then came Jake, I explained to him what I wanted and a day later he showed me exactly what I was looking for. Jake really hears the customer and creates what they hoped for and more. I am absolutely in love with our invitations, and have received a million compliments on how great and unique they are. Not only was Jake fantastic with the creative process, but everything was done in a timely, professional manner and he was happy to do it! I highly recommended Jake and will definitely utilize his services again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge based on time and material, nothing fancy. I like to understand the complete scope of the project before throwing out numbers. So please excuse me if I ask a lot of questions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Give the designer a call! It won't kill you (I'm friendly lol) and its much clearer to convey what your looking for.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I like helping people see their visions either surpass what they had in mind, or be created in a way that is satisfying. Many find it hard to trust a designer to create something that really does not exist yet, and is merely an idea. I will say to a degree it requires a leap of faith. However, more often than not this is when you create something truly spectacular!
