- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend the International TESOL conferences and, in fact, presented a paper at the conference in New York.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been interested in accent reduction since I was a child with grandparents whose first language was not English. They wanted to fit in and reduce their accents. I was fascinated by my father's ability to speak the foreign language and still speak English like a native American.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for credentials and a good fit between personalities.
