Barry is wonderful!!! He helped us prepare our home for sale by doing many painting jobs around our house. He painted trim in 2 bedrooms, painted 2 closets with trim, painted the bathroom trim, and painted our kitchen and very large dining room. He did an excellent job not only painting, but also installed moulding (baseboard and quarter-round) in many rooms. He is great at problem-solving and came up with many solutions. He was enthusiastic about every task we asked of him and added extra time for us when we thought of tasks to add at the last minute. He worked for us for about 7-9 days. He was always on time, if not a bit early which was great. It was very nice to have him in our home.

Barry is fantastic!!! Not only is he an extremely proficient painter but artisan in his craft. From general wall painting to old world glazing applications and wall art creations. Saved me thousands of dollars by transforming my old kitchen cabinets and bath vanities too works of art!From painting to all of the trades needed to upgrade and repair electrical, plumbing and carpentry his skill in all of the trades is well beyond the norm. He is honest and timely keeping to his word and helping by suggesting better alternatives to problems about the house. His goal is to please his clients' wishes. He is reasonably priced and friendly, willing to go that extra mile to please. Do not pass on having him do your projects. He was enthusiastic about every task I asked of him and got them done fast. Extremely tidy, you will never know he was there when he is done. Now I will always know who to call whenever there's projects come up!

Every now and then you come across someone like Barry. Some who values the craft more than the pay. Someone who goes beyond the call of duty. Someone whos been around in the industry long enough not to make any mistakes. And when you find them, you know you need to cling on to them. The best way to describe Barry is; if he were a doctor, hed have been a surgeon general at Stanford by now. Or if he were a judge, hed have likely been our Chief Justice. Barry took on the painting job at my home and then went on to do everything from fixing baseboards to finally fitting the curtain rods and our sliding closet doors. Fanatically obsessed with eliminating imperfections, advising the best solutions and guiding a new homeowner with the right decisions I probably saved several thousand dollars that could have been wasted due to naïve first-time owner decisions. The man completes work at magnitudes higher pace that most other people. Barry is not for the homeowner who needs it very cheap. And yet he is not expensive. Honest in everything, youll get a daily or weekly timesheet of just about every work he has done. It was accurate to the point that by the final settlement I didnt care to read the finer calculations. I knew it was right. People who are passionate and skilled at their jobs should get the highest honor in our society. They set the standards for us to follow. Barry represents that breed. I am going to have dinner at home after we move and Barry is going be the guest of honor. Thank you Barry. I learned and thoroughly enjoyed working with you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a standard hourly rate I use as a guide in projecting an estimated cost for a project. So wether you chose to go with a contract price or hourly rate in most cases you will do fine...Most of my astablished clients through the years just have me come and do the work and bill them when completed.....
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just to meet up and let them know that quality is my goal and their satisfaction the end result
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was and still have the honor of being the youngest graduate apprentice at Washburn trade school in Chicago IL--I was a full journeyman painter at the age of 21 serving a three year apprenticeship with honers
