FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing on my products is based on the number of subjects, size desired, type of portrait desired, and the background requested. I have a list of standard portrait prices below, but you can find all the details on my website at http://artsyerinsportraits.com/pages/prices.html. All prices in the list below are for a standard 1 person portrait with a white background. For the largest portraits, I recommend a limit of 6 subjects. The smaller a person's face becomes on the paper, the more difficult it becomes to portray them accurately. Size________Price________Cost per additional subject 4" x 6" ______$60.00 ______$20.00* 6" x 8" ______$75.00 ______$25.00* 8" x 10" _____$100.00 _____$40.00** 9" x 12" _____$125.00 _____$50.00** 11" x 14" ____$150.00 _____$75.00 12" x 18" ____$200.00 _____$100.00 14" x 17" ____$250.00 _____$115.00 * Additional subjects for the small portrait sizes are not recommended as details can only be approximated. ** A maximum of 3 subjects recommended for medium portrait sizes. Pets count as an additional subject.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in multimedia (graphic design, video editing, animation) from ITT Technical institute, but I have plans to go back to college and pursue a traditional art course this fall.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically people ask for portraits of their children or family in a traditional setting. But you may also be interested in some of the unique styles I offer. For example, drawing a loved one that has passed away as an Angel is a very beautiful memorial to them, and often helps the healing process as well.
