A. One day I hope I write the book I wish I had read along the way about the Belly Dancers path in New England

Answer - Some says it takes 6 years. Students after one class usually know they are madly in love or not

Answer - Yes and it's great body train , awareness for everyone

Answer - For some it is harder than for others but everything takes practice to be good

A. If you want to feel better, stand/ walk taller, learn new positive body language, feel more feminine and grounded at the same time, learn about cultures, costumes, costumes, rhythms etc etc call me
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I won't say my work stands out more from other dance artists but I have many years of classical dance training/ performance, a BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase and I have taught thousands of non dancers how to move gracefully with confidence

A. Teaching, sharing,inspiring my students and audiences through the art and knowledge of the dance

As much time as you want or have to give to your dance practice

A. There are too many and I am collecting more all the time

A. I love to teach The Dance to students ages 5 to 70 - Hips,Arms,hands,Rhythms ,Music appreciation,3 yd Veils,Persian veils, fans, Zills, Skirt,Simple Combos, choreography - for all dancers, non dancers, health, posture, fitness, spirit, positive body/ life messages fun ox Barbara
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have always danced but never knew about Middle Eastern Dance until I took a class almost 10 yrs ago - I was hooked right away - time flies when you love what you do
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. Last week I performed at a senior center around a pool
They loved it, I loved it. Week before I performed w/ my student at our town arts festival - I loved it, they loved it. I always love my monthly shows

A. I take classes/ workshops whenever I can afford to
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Belly Dancers are a very creative group of dancers - styles of music and costume are always changing. Also more and more people are realizing the mental as well as physical benefits of dancing

A. The Sandy Woods Show, Shimmy Mob, Arts Fest, SOAH, all performances and parties

A. Out of box creative spirit encouraging, stretching every student and dance or music collaborator to explore to make a unique performance arts project

A. Scheduling,better book keeping,everything creative always ,more better fundraising for things that are locally connected for kids and arts
