FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For piano lessons, I charge $60 per hour, but prefer that students come twice a week for half hour lessons. For tutoring, I charge $30 an hour for elementary school students, $40 an hour for middle school students, and $50 an hour for high school and college students, including law school graduates preparing for the bar. My legal services are priced based on financial need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by getting to know people and what they're looking for. Then I assess their abilities and design and individual program to suit their needs. I also participate in many state and national music programs such as the MTNA and the WSMTNA.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take continuing legal education credits every year, and I also take piano lessons from the great Victoria Bogdashevskaya, who happens to be my mother. I also continue my piano and pedagogy studies with professor Peter Mack.
