FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, fees are flat fees to cover the entire case. Usually there is one fee which covers everything up to a trial. There may be a trial fee which is spelled out in the initial fee agreement. This way my clients know exactly how much they will pay no matter how much work goes into a case. I never surprise my clients with any fee they have not already agreed to and know of ahead of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with new clients in a free consultation. During the consultation I try to get as many details as possible about their case so that I can provide the best picture about what to expect going forward as well as what I may be able to do to help. Facing any criminal or DUI case can be extremely frightening and disruptive to someone's life, I always work to make sure clients are as informed as possible from the beginning to hopefully make them as comfortable as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides my law degree and license to practice, I have been handling criminal and DUI cases since 2002. I have handled thousands of cases throughout the State of Arizona ranging from minor misdemeanors to DUI's to the most serious felonies. I have handled dozens of trials and secured acquittals for my clients in cases from DUI to first degree murder. I have regularly handled cases in City, Justice and Superior Courts of Arizona as well as the Federal District of Arizona.
