FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although I have set prices for most of my services, I prefer to work on a "quote per job specs basis". Each project is entirely different and can require more or less than what is set in my price list. Always allow me the opportunity to create a custom proposal based on your specific project and needs. Furthermore, payments are usually made in two to three installments. The first installment is a non-refundable deposit paid at the beginning of your order. This fee covers any preliminary designs, research and or samples acquired to produce your job. This payment is applicable towards your final payment. Your second installment is a balance of the first 50% of your order total. This is payable upon agreement of my proposal and will allow me to further work on your project. The third and final installment is the balance of your order total. This payment MUST be made after proof approval and before your job goes into production. All projects will be kept on hold until this final payment is received.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs are wedding invitations and day-of stationery, shower invitations - both bridal and baby - and custom print projects. I also do a lot of custom logo designs, personal and business stationery designs and printing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have an open mind and don't be afraid of the amount of options there are. I have had many clients panic at the thought of choosing their stationery and mentally stress themselves out about it. At the end of the day, no matter how important this piece of paper is, it is not being anxious over. Allow your stationer to guide you through the steps and be vocal about what your likes and dislikes are - it helps us better understand you and choose the right options to present you with. Also, don't bring someone to an appointment whose opinion you don't care about or too many people who have lots of opinions. This can often confuse you and cause you to lose sight of what it is you really want!
