- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A student from Colorado texted me a few months back. His family had just relocated to Texas from Colorado, so he was nervous about making friends, new school stuff, the whatnot. We had talked about it in our lessons, but I just told him "hang tough, let your drums do the talking." Well, he just told me he made the Texas All-Region Jazz Band this year. I couldn't be prouder. No feeling more wonderful than a student's success.
