- How did you get started doing this type of work?
One day I was at my parent's business and I saw how many individual business owners were failing to get more business despite doing good work. I knew they could leverage the power of the Internet and wanted to make that happen. So, I started in the fall of 2010 and haven't looked back. It's been a great and interesting venture thus far.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There's many things I would tell a potential client when thinking through who they would hire to help with their online marketing efforts - especially with SEO. 1) You can get a feel by talking to your consultant for a while. Ask a number of questions about previous work and their current client roster. 2) A busy SEO quite possibly is a decent consultant, but you also have to see why they're busy. 3) And there's many other questions I would share.
