Introduction: Before starting work for a client I meet with them to get to know their business or about their family, depending on whether we are planning a business video or a family legacy/history video. I help my clients get across the message they want to deliver. We work on objectives and scripts together before shooting the video. The videos I create all look natural because I make my clients feel very comfortable during the shooting. I don't force them to read a script or memorize words. That requires up-front work, but it pays off in the end. I am a mobile videographer and travel to my clients to shoot their videos. After producing the videos I upload them to YouTube for them, helping them to optimize their video for YouTube. Family Legacy movies are delivered on a beautifully labeled and packaged DVD. A streaming copy can also be made available. The family legacy videos are delivered with professional quality labeled DVDs presented in exquisite folio packaging. Working with my clients is what Zi love most! I am a people person and a very good listener--imperative for making people feel comfortable and being able to produce products that my clients love!

I came across Judy's card quite by accident at the "Post Net" store in Sunnyvale when I was trying to put together a memorial photo collage for my Mother's funeral services. I feel so lucky to have been able to find her! In addition to photos, I also wanted to have a slide show with my Mom's favorite music put together but didn't have a lot of time so I contacted Judy and she put together a beautiful memorial DVD for my Mother's funeral service within just days of my request. She was so kind, compassionate and understanding of my situation and was prompt at responding to my calls and requests. Most notably was how wonderful the quality and content of the finished product came out. It was exactly what I had envisioned and my family and I will forever be grateful for this gift. We can now look back on this beautiful video to remember our special Mother. Thank you so very much Judy!

I had the pleasure of working with Judy on a video for my mother’s 90th birthday. I had seen and admired her work and knew that Judy was involved in every aspect of memorializing someone’s life. This included recording her clients memories. However, my mother lived 2500 miles away which meant that I would be the one doing the recording! I was concerned about this and wondered if I could do as good a job as Judy. It turned out that I had no reason to worry because Judy took time to coach and guide me - explaining how to record in a way to best capture my mom. Judy worked with what I recorded and incorporated the photos I provided accompanied by my mom’s favorite music. What she developed brought tears to my eyes and was the hit of my Mom’s 90th birthday party. Sadly, my mom passed away a few months later which made this video all the more precious. Thank you Judy for all you did for me and my mother.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continually taking courses online to improve my video shooting knowledge and skills. No only do I learn better video shooting techniques I also learn new software techniques. I've learned quite a few tricks to fix video shooting problems. In addition, I attend online webinars to learn about video marketing and how to get your video and business found in the online searches.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always treasured photos and have carefully put the thousands of photos I've taken over the years into photo albums. I started taking photos of neighbors and friends, creating photo montage videos. Then I moved into business testimonials and business promotion videos while I developed my plan to move into family legacy videos. My mission now is to help families create their family legacy movies before it is too late!
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs are short business videos for YouTube. I also create a YouTube channel for my clients, optimize it and the videos, and help them use the embed code for their websites should they need that.
