Introduction: I cover CPR needs on your time!
I am a registered nurse. I have worked in all areas of critical care over 30 years. The last nine years of my career, I did travel nursing. My teaching skills come from experience. When students ask,"What's it like to do CPR on a real baby or adult?" I can tell them first hand. When they ask, "Do you save all of them?" I can also answer that honestly.
I teach BLS for healthcare providers and all of the Heartsaver Courses. I do certifications for doctors, nurses, dental offices, physical therapy companies, corporations, daycare facilities, many couples in the process of adoption, and I have a baby sitting program for young people and new parents called Prepared Providers Course.
My classes are very detailed and informative. I have an 88% return rate on renewals, with many referrals from previous students. I hand out a class evaluation at the end of each class, and they are most always filled with positive feedback and praises.
I think the best service I offer is I schedule classes at the customers needs, and not mine. If they work 3 p.m. until 11 p.m., and need to do the class 12 a.m. until 6 a.m., that's when I'll do the class for them. I think filling their needs and letting them know that their needs are important to me too, helps them decide my company is the right choice for them.
I also tailor each class to their specific needs. I think this helps them stay focused and retain the information they need, especially since the classes are lengthy. And lastly, I give them a lot of written reference material to take with them, and I am available to them by telephone, email or visit until it is time for them to renew again in two years.
