- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate of $150/hr, 2-hour minimum, is the same for all clients. I believe this is more fair than offering discounts and deals to some and not others, for the same service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After determining my availability for your date, and getting your party information, I email you a contract which you can sign online; then an invoice for a 1/3 nonrefundable deposit to hold that date, which is also payable online. Then we're good to go!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm mostly self-taught, which means my training is from experience and learning from other artists. I attend the annual ISCS convention (the International Society of Caricature Artists) where hundreds of caricaturists from all over the globe converge for a week of seminars, competitions, and friendship. In 2012, I won 2nd place Best Studio Caricature. In 2016, I won 3rd place Outstanding 3D technique.
