Carla Patane

Introduction: I am very interested in applying for the position of teaching. I studied law in Italy and the recent opportunity to move to New York has spurred me to explore other areas of work. I worked in a renowned international law firm in Milan, specialized in intellectual property. During university, I worked as volunteer teacher for an association that support children’s education in slum neighborhoods at high risk of criminality. My role was to follow them in post school activities and to help them in completing homework and assignments. I am a willing person, responsible, always looking for new challenges. I have a working English proficiency. I have excellent interpersonal skills which allows me always to adapt easily in different contexts. I love reading, writing, traveling, cooking. I always try to make every experience an opportunity for growth through a continuous cultural exchange with people. Teaching is an amazing opportunity for me to get in touch with people eager to learn my native language and the outstanding Italian culture. It would be a true honor to guide them in this fascinating journey. I would put all my passion and energy in this job and I believe that my strong knowledge of the Italian language and lifestyle, together with my international background and experience, makes me a very good candidate for this position.
