Find a tutoring center where the tutors are not only eager but also trained to help their students. Too often tutoring centers will hire high school students to work with the young children. Although high school students can help young students build academic skills, teenagers often lack the professionalism and experience that college-educated tutors and experienced teachers have developed. The Cary Tutoring Center only hires tutors who are close to completing college or who already have earned their college degrees.
