We specialize in all outdoor events and cook on-site in a custom-built 30-foot mobile kitchen, so your food is fresh and hot! And we work with you to customize a menu that matches your party. So whatever you are planning, whether it be a Tuscan Wedding in a vineyard, a Renaissance Wedding in the woods or a Texas style BBQ for your company outing, give us a call! Our event planner will be glad to help you with all the details. Our Executive Chef and owner graduated from the Center of Culinary Arts and is a Certified Culinarian (CC) by the American Culinary Federation and a Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE) from the National Association for Catering and Events.

My son's wedding was at a farm that was not set up as a wedding venue, so the site had many challenges. John met with us to problem solve and made suggestions for how to make the serving and of the food attractive and manageable for the staff. We used all of his ideas, and the wedding was just wonderful! In addition, John spoke and met with my son's fiancee for several hours planning out the menu. Everything was fresh, tasty, and received great reviews from the guests. The hors d'oeuvres table was attractively displayed and the passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious. I highly recommend the pears in filo dough. The entrees and side dishes were very well prepared and prepared on site. The servers were pleasant, efficiently circulating among the guests. On The Spot catering went above and beyond every step of the way and I'd highly recommend John Giacchi to cater your event.

My husband found On The Spot at the Taste of Mystic and raved about their steak sandwich! We hired them for our wedding and couldn't have been more pleased. Our guests are still sending compliments about the food. They were very hospitable and easy to work with. Their staff was excellent and very friendly. We made sure to come back to see them at the Taste of Mystic again this year and look forward to doing so again and again. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!
