I am a self taught chef. Trained in seafood & fine dinning restaurants. I use only the freshest, local seafood from our shore, organic produce & meats from Currituck & Dare Counties when possible. Purchasing the day of or just the day before the event provides the client with the best possible product. Our clients (you & your guest) are pampered, served as royality, then we clear, clean up and leave your beach home as we found it.

No review we could possibly write could sum up how thankful we are that we chose Dawn's Kitchen for our special event. From the second we talked to Dawn and decided on our budget and what we wanted, she did everything possible to make all of our wants, needs, and ideas come to fruition-- while continually trying to find creative ways to 'wow' our guests. They really know how to put on an impressive event and can show you where you should splurge and where you should save - their knowledge was priceless. Dawn's energy, warmth, and calming way of putting you at ease makes everything during this stressful time so much more enjoyable. You can really feel that she cares about you and your day. The food: Our parents insisted on a sit-down dinner and we were sort of iffy about it, but once we saw the staff almost in complete synchronization put down everyone's plates so elegantly, we knew we made the right choice. The food was AMAZING. Really high quality local ingredients, care in cooking and interesting choices that could fit any palate. People are still raving about the food - it was talked about so much the next day and following weeks. Not only was the food amazing, but it was also plentiful and carefully planned. The appetizers seemed to be merging from all angles and our guests were blown away. We could not have been happier about the food. Dawn was an amazing day-of coordinator - she has a calming force, but also encourages you to be excited and enjoy your day. She does her job so well you don't even realize how much she is doing. The rest of the staff were as nice and hardworking, professional and knowledgeable - willing to go the extra mile with incredible attention to detail. We're so lucky to have found them that we felt compelled to express our appreciation and pass along a recommendation of the utmost confidence and warmth.

I offer Personal Chef, Fully Catered, Drop-off & Pick-up Services. We can create the menu, provide the food & prepare, serve & clean up. Or if you prefer we will create the menu, provide the food prepared & ready to serve in toss away containers with instructions. We cater weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, birthday parties & family gatherings. Catering delicious memories.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choose a professional that you have a good connection with, someone that returns your emails & you calls promtly. Also, someone that lissens to you hears your desires for that special event or meal. Check references. I have a list of clients that you may email. Also please ask all questions even the little ones those little ones may be the one that turn a good event into a over the top event.
