FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Every two years, I complete at least 24 hours of continuing education. (and I read a lot to make sure I am up to date)

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Home Inspection is my primary service. With that comes additional services such as water testing, radon testing, and septic testing. I offer all of these services so that when the inspection is complete, the client has an unbiased view of their new home. I thoroughly inspect every home like it was my own. The client can then submit the report(s) to all required authorities so that either their closing or sale can be completed. I follow up with each and every client so that if there are any questions or concerns, these can be addressed in a timely manner. I still get calls from satisfied clients either with a question about their home, or just to catch up. I absolutely love my job, and the people I meet just make it that much better.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I stress the importance of a home inspection. When buying a home, most people are not aware of the potential defects a home might have. My advice is to find a home inspector who will take the time and have the patience to thoroughly look at each and every section of the home. A good home inspector not only finds the major defects a home may have, but also does not overlook the little things that can add up over time. Ask questions of your home inspector. It is my recommendation that at least one client be present for the home inspection. Not only would you get a detailed report, but this gives the client a better understanding of the home because you have seen it first hand. Seeing is believing. The last thing I would advise is cheap is not better, being in a hurry is not better. My personal philosophy is that if I do not have the time to do a proper inspection, I should stay home. My clients get my best effort on every inspection.
