Meet with them, one of the biggest things is making a good connection, if your not happy with your photographer, the images wont be as nice, there is a good reason why our brides become our friends. Also make sure the Photographer has had lots of experiance and is a true professional, not someone doing this on the side, yes it costs a bit more for a professional but there are really good reasons why, its your life memories your talking about capturing.
