FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly compensation as an Independent Contractor. Monthly invoicing for services, fixed monthly rates for ongoing services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a client does not have a back-up restorable copy of their Quickbooks accounting data then I would have to start from the beginning of the Fiscal Year. Thus I would require all bank, credit card and loan statements, cash receipts and other source documents to do all required reconciliations and cash expenditures to be able to do accurate reporting. If a new client is already using Quickbooks with various tasks like, Billing / Invoicing / Receivables and Payables, all that I need is the back-up restorable accounting file so that I can restore the company to my desktop and start working. If the prior set of books are in disarray, this is not a problem. I will correct, troubleshoot and do the needed reconciliation corrections and closing entries to obtained a correct trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, and Aging reports for both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
