Introduction:
Katherine Hart always pays close attention to the nuances of sound and voices; but most importantly, she pays very close attention to the emotional responses that those sounds evoke.
Katherine Hart is an accomplished professional actress, director, and producer who brings many years of theatrical experience to teaching, utilizing a unique and customized communication training process.
She has been an instructor in the fields of vocal training, communications and the theater. Katherine received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Drake University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Temple University. As a performer and teacher Katherine has been associated with the critically acclaimed Tony Award winning companies Steppenwolf Theater, Victory Gardens Theater and the Eugene O'Neil Theater Center.
Katherine has been a guest teacher at the following universities: Harvard, Yale, Drake, Temple, Bradley, Brown, DePaul, Vassar, Trinity College and Brandeis.
Katherine also has appeared on CNN, CNBC, ABC, and CBS news stations across the nation offering her vocal expertise. Remains Theater, Steppenwolf Theater, Victory Gardens Theater and The Goodman Theater have all benefited from her guidance.
As a long-time resident of Chicago, Katherine has worked with many Chambers of Commerce including: Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Nor Center, and Lincoln Square. She also has been affiliated with the ICSA (International Customer Service Association), SOCAP (Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals), NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), and the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) Womens Development Center, DePaul University Entrepreneurship program and the new Communication School at Loyola University.
