- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Jobs get priced according to the square footage, material cost, milage, equipment acquisition, prep, and cleanup.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get a detailed understanding of what goals need to be met. Come up with an estimated cost of labor and materials. (Usually once all aspects of the job are understood we will research different avenues that best meet each particular customer's needs and preferences). Finally, we will establish a set price and payment schedule before starting a project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Became jr. apprentice at age 10 working under Mark Paris Mark Construction up through my high school years. Mark was very careful to teach the trade to his sons and I paid very close attention to his instructions. Received training on concrete, plumbing, drywall, tape, mud, drafting blueprints, doors, windows, ceramics, roofing, tuck pointing, fencing, painting, staining, sealing, cabinetry, water heaters, framing, electrical, light fixtures, decks, etc. By age 16 went on to become an apprentice fo John Brown, JB's Carpet and Flooring. Trained on vinyl, hardwood, carpet, tile, ceramics, baseboards, laminate, and stairs.
