Mr. Severino provides impassioned criminal defense work on behalf of his clients. He charges a normal amount of $2,500 for a misdemeanor, $1,000 of which is payable up front, and he charges a normal amount of $5,000 for the defense of a felony, with $1,000 payable up front. He is, however, committed to providing legal representation to low income individuals and is welcome to alternative payment plans. Also, since each criminal matter is different, Mr. Severino's fees are adjustable in relation to the situation. For instance, he will typically reduce his fee if a matter settles prior to trial. All fee matters will be discussed with the client when the legal relationship is formed.
