If you are looking for a great way to spend the afternoon, or a place to learn a lot about horsemanship, come see Jim. His horses are great, and he is funny as hell. You'll have fun and the trails are amazing.

I had never ridden or been around horses until much later in life. After joining CBC, I learned basic, valuable horsemanship, which I use and implement to this day. My horse and riding are now a big part of my life. Thank you Jim!

I have been a member of Cowboy Boot Camp for over five years and learn something every time I ride a horse, which is weekly. I have become adept at tack, grooming and riding, all because of Jim Moore. The experience of riding a horse on the gorgeous trails in Palos Verdes is exhilarating and soothing for the soul -- I highly recommend it.

Jim shows you how to ride a horse literally from the ground up. More than that, he shows and tells you why you are doing what you're doing. This is no new-age, horse-whispering class, but a practical way to ride and interact with horses based on what has worked for thousands of years. Jim is a true horseman.
