FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with new clients I make arrangements to meet in person first. This will always be key to gaging one another and seeing if this will be a right fit for both parties. I start from the ground up with a client, listening to their wants and needs, followed by offering my advice and how I may be able to deliver on their wishes. I then keep in contact throughout the planning process via e-mail, text or phone to further put a client at ease and make them aware that there is work being done behind the scenes in order to execute properly the day of an event. I only charge for my time at the actual event, when bartending that is. All of the preliminary work is complimentary and I am happy to do it for my clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For all clients: Do. Your. Research. Your due diligence matters. Trust your first instincts and impressions when meeting someone. After you've met with a Provider, take the notes they've given you, the terms they've thrown around, the clients/history they've presented and look up their references and google certain terms and jargon often used by people in this industry. If what they've said doesn't match up with what they should've meant, then you've got a person who believes themselves to be a professional but cannot actually deliver on the final product or handle a situation when something goes wrong. And, finally, always get *everything* in writing and have everything agreed upon beforehand when planning your event. This communication will be key to having both parties on the same page and will protect both parties if a disagreement should occur or if certain needs are not met.
