- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been interested in nature. I became interested in the beauty and diversity of plants at an early age and I wanted to do work that was creative and involved the art of incorporating plants and other natural features into peoples homes.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do many landscape designs that are influenced by nature, with an emphasis on a diversity of plants in the landscape.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a landscape designer it is important to find someone who listens to the customer. Many customers I've talked to have told me they hired designers only to find that the final product was not what they wanted, the designer did not listen or understand the customers wants and needs. My advice would be to make sure the customer is comfortable with the designer and to be certain that the designer will listen and respond to what the customer wants.
