- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly rate, flat fee, weekly rate, day rate, month salary are both okay to me. All dependent on proejcts types and how complex, so I'm obviously flexible, we can discuss before start.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Dependent on projects type and how complex. Usually the process is : 1. I have a basic price(as a baseline)for each type of project, so if clients agree with it, then we will go to the next step 2. After clients okay with me regular basic price, then I will communicate with clients, understand the basic of project background, before I start the project,I always need to as clearly as I can, to get full understand project itself,clients requirements, and projects requirement( this more like clients's "needs", not just they "want") 3. After full understand and without questions any more, I will give clients a final quote, if clients okay with this , I will send them a simple E-agreement to sign, just in order to better protect both of us. After signed, designer will need 20%-50% prepayment (dependent on project type and how complex/large) . If clients not okay with final price, then dependent on project, we can have some discuss and find a balance. 4. After prepayment, designer will start to work. 5. When in design process, designer will maintain communication with clients, ensure we are in the same page. 6. After work done and clients satisfied with the work, clients will pay the final payment. 7. After designer received the final fee, then I will deliver the original design format files.
