Introduction: At Custom Your Way Homes, LLC we look at the big picture. What is your final project going to be like after you have moved in? Is it going to be functional? These are some of the questions that we ask when considering a final design layout. We also use value engineering when we design a home. This saves cost on the project and space in the landfill. Both are important to us. Our goal is to take your ideas and dreams and put them into a functional and practical space that is stunning in appearance and comfort. As a Home Designer and Home Builder I enjoy creating real spaces on the planet that will be occupied by my neighbors for many years. It is humbling to think that my homes will be here long after I am. If those families find security and comfort in their homes then that brings me incredible peace of mind.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that you don't underestimate the design of your new custom home. All too often people settle on a stock house plan without comparing the floor plan to their lifestyle and budget. For example, If you plan on living in your new custom home beyond retirement, you may want to consider a one-level home rather than a two-story. You may want the master suite to have a 3ft. door instead of a more typical 30 inch door. A good design is critical to how satisfied a new home owner will be after they have moved in.
