FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly engaged in finding new resources, products and inspiration. One of the most satisfying aspects of a career in design is the bounty of new products and textiles we are regularly introduced to through seasonal and annual trade shows. We are regularly inspired by the work of contemporaries around the world, which is often reflected in trade publications, and we attend regional design trade shows, seminars, classes and events.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our projects vary so much, depending on size, style and budget. The most common request, however, is "Help us create a comfortable home that serves the needs of our busy family". Our primary job is creating stylish, yet comfortable interiors.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to do a bit of homework first. Gather your pictures, pins, clippings, ideas and inspiration together before you contact a design professional. It is important that you interview the prospective designer and find some point of connection and personal rapport, but it is equally important that you are comfortable that they can execute any design created. Great ideas are nothing without great execution.
