  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Shop around and see the rentals before signing the contract. Many rental companies are not located within the city, so they handle their clients through the phone or e-mail, making it hard for people to travel and see the rentals. I've heard horror stories about weddings ruined by renting raggedy furniture. Don't be one of them. Compare not only the prices, but the quality and condition of the rental equipment. Also, ask in advance about all the rental fees and conditions. In some cases, rental companies would charge extra if they pickup the furniture during the middle of the night, or on weekends. Ask your rental provider to "draw" you a picture of the entire process and make sure you give the rental company all the information needed in regards to freight elevators, furniture location, door or hallway restrictions, dock/entrance or about other accessibility issues.
