David Y. Kim Piano

Introduction: By day, I am a transactional entertainment attorney working with clients in the areas of film, television, music, digital and licensing. All other times, I am of a lover the arts and teach as well. I have been playing the piano since the age of 5 and initially learned under my Korean tiger mom as she had operated two very large piano studios in Korea as well, with 100+ students at each location. While attending college at U.C. Berkeley, I taught piano three days a week, all day, and enjoyed working with students and teaching them piano. I love how music opens up a person, whether they know it or not, and allows one the opportunity to communicate, feel and express in different ways while healing their soul. Music heals. And the piano is one of the best conductors of that healing. Healing and training for the mind, body and soul, while also unleashing one's creativity even more and allowing the pianist to explore his/her creativity and inner depth in other areas and facets of his/her life as well.
